The Winchester Agricultural Research Station focuses on research programs that directly benefit Eastern Ontario crop producers. This station has 150 acres located on North Gower clay loam, representing approximately one million acres in the Ottawa and South Nation river valleys. Once drained, this clay loam is well suited to growing annual field crops, corn, cereals and soybeans.
